Marie Johnson

Director of Finance Marie Johnson began working at Delta in 2020. She works with several clients of different sizes and structures. She enjoys the variety, as well as helping client organizations achieve their important missions. Marie appreciates working with the “cool people” at Delta and our clients, as well as the independent work environment. 

Marie’s experience and education includes:

• Strong accounting background

• B.A. in accounting

• B.S. in in social & behavioral sciences

• Master’s degree in business administration 

• More than 20 years’ experience working with governmental agencies and nonprofit organizations

Marie’s coworkers note her calm, cool demeanor as one superpower and her ability to explain financial statements to even the most novice board member is another. Marie says that her superpower is being a dog whisperer. That’s her dog Luna posing on Delta’s website. 

In her free time, Marie likes to do anything outdoors—hiking, walking, or riding bikes. She also practices yoga, pilates, and enjoys the company of animals.
